Nicole started Pétillante Weddings to help English-speaking couples. She saw the difficulties they faced, not only with planning a French destination wedding from around the world, but also because of confusion around French wedding industry norms. Mother of two and married to a French man, Nicole combines her American upbringing with her knowledge of French lifestyle to give the best to her clients.
At the intersection of travel, food culture, and logistics, Simona is a true polyglot who moves seamlessly between worlds. Whether she’s coordinating a complex international wedding or leading an immersive tour, she is particularly attuned to the nuances of navigating complex logistics with a level of resourceful clarity that makes the impossible feel effortless.
What really makes Simona Simona? It’s her obsessive love for people. She is endlessly curious, always spending her free time tasting new flavors, scouting new sites, making new friends - and tending to her garden!
She brings a vibrant, expressive Italian flair to the Pétillante team: she is spirited, wonderfully candid, and fueled by a genuine warmth. For Simona, every problem has a solution, and every detail is an opportunity to show care. She carries the stress so you don’t have to, ensuring your celebration unfolds naturally, elegantly, and with plenty of heart.
Beginning her wedding career with 5 years of experience at a vineyard wedding venue in Bordeaux, Nicole developed deep knowledge of Bordeaux wines, French cuisine, and tourist activities. After 10 years of planning weddings, she has close relationships with some of the best, most genuine suppliers in the area.

throughout the entire organisation, process and on the day itself! As we could not be in the country, she assisted us getting everything sorted and in place so that our guests and ourselves could enjoy that day fully. She was highly recommended by family friends and we are so happy she was here for us. The entire process for us was stress free, full of positivity and she was always willing to listen to our suggestions and assist to make it happen."
