We loved how Beth and George thought ‘out of the box’ and incorporated water pictures for their wedding day, which is a rare choice for couples. The pictures were breathtaking!
The Perfect Setting: A Riverside Wedding in France
The setting of their wedding was the Garonne River, which flows into the biggest estuary in Europe. The venue, Château Grattequina, has a private dock for couples/guests to arrive by boat as well. Château Grattequina is a stunning historic estate built in 1872 and it’s surrounded by flourishing vineyards.
Beth and George got married outside the Château. The grounds have a very open layout and are set right beside the water. Beth and George even took a group shot with all their wedding guests in front of the Château! What a great touch at this riverside wedding!
The cocktail hour on the terrace was both romantic and elegant. Serving champagne and canapes to the guests while they enjoyed live music and the breathtaking views. For the reception in the Halle, they created a very romantic atmosphere utilizing candlelight, charming floral arrangements adorning each table, and a spectacular and carefully curated menu for their family and friends.

At Beth and George’s wedding, all their guests actually came from the U.S., while Beth and George live in London. At the end of the evening, they had an emotional departure. Since Beth and George have many friends in common, the atmosphere felt like a big family event!
